It is tagged as PICPA Qatar Mini Bowling Tournament - The REMATCH!!
BUZZ!!
Yes, PICPA Qatar Mini Bowling Tournament - The REMATCH.
Yesterday I attended the Middle East Tax Conferece in Dubai. This is spearheaded by Ernst & Young International and should be attended by Senior Tax Financial Executives (mind you I am just a nobody in my company but that is another story).
Among other alarming issues is the introduction of Value Added Tax in the Middle East region which is quite positive to be implemented here. They will initiate this in the UAE in 2010 but as early as mid this year, Qatar, if there will be no changes, they will start the awareness program. They plan to implement this in 2012 here if UAE will have positive results for this.
Singapore has topped a list of cities around the world offering Asian expatriates the best quality of life, followed by Sydney, a survey from a human resources consultancy said Tuesday.
UK-headquartered ECA International's annual location ranking, which compares living standards in 254 international locations, found that Singapore is an ideal place for Asians to live in because of the quality of its infrastructure and health facilities.
The city-state's low health risks, air pollution, crime rates and cosmopolitan population added to its appeal, Lee Quane, ECA International's general manager in Hong Kong, told The Associated Press.
Quane noted, however, that while Singapore scored consistently well in most of the 15 categories used to asses each location, it saw a deterioration in some factors.
I was sitting on a beach one summer day, watching two children, a boy and a girl, playing in the sand.
They were hard at work building an elaborate sandcastle by the water's edge with gates and towers and moats and internal passages. Just when they had nearly finished their project, A big wave came along and knocked it down, reducing it to a heap of wet sand.
I expected the children to burst into tears, devastated by what had happened to all their hard work. But they surprised me. Instead, they ran up the shore away from the water, laughing and holding hands, and sat down to build another castle. I realized that they had taught me an important lesson. All the things in our lives, all the complicated structures we spend so much time and energy creating, are built on sand.
(FROM A MAN'S PERSPECTIVE) I know I'm not going to
understand women. I'll never understand how you can take boiling
hot wax pour it onto your hand, rip the hair out by the root, and still be
afraid of a spider.
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted
to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats,
and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?" "Yep,"
the wife replied, "in-laws."
WORDS
A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a
day... 30,000 to a man's 15,000.
The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat
everything to men...
The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"
The wife said "See".
CREATION
A man said to his wife one day, "I don't know how you can be so stupid
I know that a coin has two sides, a debating contest has always two issues, and a story has two versions.
Our government can be observed also in two ways: One positive. One negative. If we can concentrate on the negative side, we become bitter. If we opt for the positive side, then we appear to be receiving something from the administration.
As a responsible blogger, we CAN (if we choose to) show both sides particularly the government issues.
There are still good stories which we as bloggers can post and not only the negative sides.
Right John Leonard? :)

Calling all pediatricians (or doctors), parents, and those who are familiar with this:
Is it really bad not to give bath to a baby of less than a year of age when he is in colds or in cough. I am desperate in collecting answer to this.
Please respond. Thank you!
