Filipino Expats Qatar

well, i figured out that theres no league of creative filipino designers here in doha. I've been here for more than a year but i dont heard any organization referring to my subject. Actually im planning to start a group and register it as organisation but at least, for the meantime as a group, i need some guys to be a part of it. Of course i need to come up with the ideas (which i have already - but still i need more ideas ) how the group will work as a team and as a whole. After cracking all the stuff to run the group well, im planning to register it to become a legal and well known organization in DOHA.

Let me give you some idea how i planned to introduce the group and how it works.

Well, first we need to exert more effort to introduce the group or let say the organisation (IMAGE BRANDING). How? there's too many way, we should know where people usually gathers (i mean Filipino) so we can execute our strategy in a right place, hmnn friendster? hehehe - embassy pwede. Let say, a free lesson/tutorial referring to the subject (our industry).. Hmnnn what about Photshop? Illustrator? Basic Web Design? Flash Animation? - for FREE of course(limited time). By these means, we can inject to every Filipino in Doha that there is a group that can help them to learn such programs for FREE. There's too many way to introduce our organisation name in the country but lets talk about it once we decided to start the group hehehe!

Ofcourse, after all the effort, considering a successfull image branding, we need to come with the idea on how the group will work.
Let me give you some hint.
I planned to register a domain name for a group, host and manage it. Once the domain name is activated, an online database will be executed enabling Filipino expats in the same industry( our subject) to register and become a member. Whole website can be navigated only by submitting personal email for non-members, for marketing purpose.
There will be a database also where member can upload their concept design subject to a target client which i planned to generally categorise it by industry, ie. AUTOMOTIVE, TELECOMMUNICATIONS, ELECTRONICS, IT, ENGINEERING, INTERIOR and so on. This database will be a gateway between us as a Group of Creative Filipino Designer and the market (QATAR) and internationally as well.

All prospect clients can freely navigate the database according to their industry, it can be a PR company, ad agency, interior design and cosulting company, who knows right?

You might ask, is it a form of business? i can say... lets talk about it later hehehehe..

Aside from being an online database of concept and design portfolio, the organisation also will provide an online help, training, free tutorials and so on that will benifited the entire Filipino community in Qatar. We as a member will be compensated by means of helping each other, and ofcourse by exposing ourself as a group online to provide solutions, think about it hehehe.
