hi... im a newbie here... im based in manila pero i'd loved to get a banking job there in qatar.. siempre, mahirap na ang buhay dito sa pinas.. madali bang humanap ng trabaho dyan in case visit visa ang gamitin ko??
If you will come here on Visit Visa ay ok lang, I think 2 1/2 months na paghahanap ng work ng isang professional is long enough.
Dont risk leaving the country and your job just because a lot of people are claiming malaki sweldo sa middle east. Mahirap ang buhay sa pinas, think about how hellish it would be if you risk leaving our country tapos you dont have work for three months.
Anyway, if you really are interested in looking for a job in the middle east perhaps I can help. I work in a bank and we need qualified persons but the process is we dont hire walk-ins with tourist visas. Leave your email address at this thread and i'll get in touch with you through my office email. Lets see if your qualifications meet our bank's requirement, if it does, I would be happy to help a kabayan.
Besides, would'nt you rather go through the right process and get a "family status" in your employment visa? A friend of mine who thought its so easy to find a job in the gulf states just because we carry the "pinoy badge of hardwork and intelligence" got the shock of his life when after four months, he never found work, and had to phone his friends working in the middle east to borrow money for his plane fare back to the philippines. This guy was already a manager in a commercial bank sa atin take note and he still did not find a job.
Let us help, if you leave your email address in this post, with a brief rundown of your qualifications, im sure someone is bound to refer you to their bank. I know I would.
I totally agree with HS. It's better to wait it out & go with the standard recruitment process & I'm sure the Sunday ads in Manila is flooded with 'em. The only issue would be on how competitive you are in terms of demonstrated skills. There are so many disappointments than success stories with people flying in on visit visas... Just look around more & be patient. Who knows HS may be calling you in a few weeks for a job vacancy.
